El Teatre Micalet arranca su vigésima temporada con 15 espectáculos hasta final de año. Teatro, música, circo y sobre todo, teatro infantil. Todo, como siempre, en valenciano y dando protagonismo a los artistas locales, dramaturgos y compañías valencianas; pero sin olvidar la dramaturgia internacional. Además hay una apuesta de programación específica de teatro para escolares y las últimas propuestas dramaturgas de Cataluña y las Islas.
La temporada comienza el próximo viernes 18 se septiembre con la obra inaugural “Matant el temps”, de la Companya La Dependent, protagonizada por el reconocido actor Joan Gadea en un monólogo lleno de humor, música y ternura para reivindicar la comedia. La pieza estará en cartel hasta el 27 de septiembre.
La obra está escrita por Pasqual Alapont y en palabras del autor “Las excentricidades de Joan nos hacen reír, pero también nos provocan ternura, porque en el fondo sabemos que compartimos sus fobias y preocupaciones; su mediocridad es la nuestra y también lo es la voluntad de trascendencia. Una travesía hacia la nostalgia y hacia la esperanza, pero también es una reivindicación de la comedia y las ganas de compartir con los amigos la fiesta de la vida”.
Es el comienzo de una programación teatral muy intensa, que continuará con un clásico del Teatre Micalet, Xavi Castillo y su “Con la iglesia hemos topao II”, un monográfico en clave de humor de obispos, astutos, Papas, casos de pederastia, declaraciones homófobas, y otras perlas finas del mundo de la iglesia católica: la nuestra, la buena…la de toda la vida.
